Trainee Resources

Home Trainee Resources

The WTS is committed to being supportive of students and trainees interested in thoracic surgery (cardiac, thoracic, and/or congenital heart surgery). Explore the section of the WTS website dedicated to students and trainees.

One of the WTS’s missions is to focus on the development of women thoracic surgeons through a mentoring program. Another is to create a supportive community to optimize the advancement of women interested in and/or in CT surgery.

This section of the website is created for and by you, our candidate members. We welcome and encourage you to contribute to the Resident’s Corner and Medical Student Perspective.

Know of an exceptional Cardiothoracic Resident that deserves recognition? Nominate them to be featured on our website Resident’s Corner.

We have four scholarship/award opportunities specifically for medical students and residents and are developing more to come soon. Apply to ones that best fit your needs.
